Buzz Light year couldn't fly to infinite and beyond, but at least he could fall with style.

WOMEN.     . . . and some men.
Why is it we get these crazy people, that are so against ageing gracefully? Now-a-days it's all about boob jobs, botox and chemical peeling face lifts.
I suppose a little here and there isn't too bad to stop the people of the world worrying about looking older and not being seen as "beautiful" any more, but there are limits. You get to the point where you see these people on t.v and you think to yourself  "You're too old to look that young..." It just doesn't look pretty any more! Today, being "beautiful" is what it's all about. You have to be thin and perky or muscle like and radiant to be noticed in a good way. All I really want to say is get a grip and get real! Barbie and ken are taking over ... You're beautiful and don't forget it. We can't let plastic win!!

  1. I always think about how women were in the 1920's, right up to the 1960's. Women were glamorous then - I mean real glamour, not just 'glamour models' we have today. It must have been in the 70's, but things really went downhill from there. I know that in previous days gone by, women used makeup, but they knew HOW to use it - e.g. a little goes a long way. But now it's about foundation, foundation, foundation on the lips, huge amounts of black eye-liner - to look 'sexy'. Well, natural and minimal is sexy, not this 'I'm a whore/prostitute' sexy look.
